Hello, thanks for logging onto the 23rd Fife 1st Leven web page.
If you want to contact us please e#mail me on georgedrummond@msn.com

Leven Scout Group was founded in 1909 which makes us one of the oldest groups in Scotland. We will be celebrating our centenary next year. The group moved from place to place between Leven and Kennoway until the 1950's when the hall we are still in today was built in Montrave Cresent.
The group is about to celebrate its centenary year. We will be asking the young people of the group to design a badge to comemorate this once in a life time event. We will also be having our own little centenary camp at Fordel sometime after Easter.
The hall we are in is about to go through some major refurbishment. Stage one will involve putting in new windows, upgrading gents toilet, disabled toilet facilities, a disabled access ramp at the front, new fire doors and a new front door. Stage 2 will be a new heating system and a new kitchen. These upgrades should give the Scout groups within Levenmouth and the Local community an attractive venue for events well into the future. Hannah Drummond has become the first female Explorer Scout in the Levenmouth area. She was invested into the McDonald Explorer Unit on Friday 9th January 2009. Well done Hannah.
